After the Divide — Dark V

from $225.00

Dark V brings the physical history of Shedding closest to the surface. Intersecting forms move through cool shadow and warm reflected light while drilled openings, abrasions, and traces of repair remain visible. Rather than treating these marks as imperfections to be hidden, the photograph allows them to become part of the composition and the sculpture's continuing history.

Part of the After the Divide series, this photograph resulted from the reworking of Shedding, a sculpture damaged during Hurricane Helene. As the sculpture was repaired and transformed, close photographic observation revealed compositions within its altered surfaces, allowing light, color, depth, and material to separate from the larger form and become works in their own right.

Printed on archival Hahnemühle German Etching paper, the work is presented unframed and available exclusively in limited editions:

  • 8 × 12 in (21 × 29.7 cm) — Limited Edition of 50 — $225

  • 12 × 18 in (30 × 45 cm) — Limited Edition of 25 — $335

  • 16 × 24 in (40 × 60 cm) — Limited Edition of 20 — $595
