Untangled
A contemplative series of thirteen abstract drawings created during a period marked by profound physical and emotional challenges. Each piece emerged in direct response to moments when anxiety inhibited action, crafted during my experience with chemotherapy. As the series progressed, the act of drawing became both more intuitive and more demanding, ultimately concluding when my strength could no longer sustain the process. Displayed in chronological order, the works quietly trace a journey through perseverance, vulnerability, and the fleeting nature of endurance. In 2024, four pieces were lost to Hurricane Helene; today, only nine of the original thirteen remain.
