Frequency captures energetic duality through saturated color and topographic linework. Red and blue ink fields are encased in layered bio-resin epoxy and polyurethane, their edges traced by concentric ridges that suggest both vibration and containment. This small-format work distills rhythm, polarity, and pulse into a concentrated surface.
Initially completed in 2019, Frequency was later damaged during Hurricane Helene. Afterward, the surface was professionally sanded and refinished to preserve its structural integrity and visual clarity.
• Medium: Ink, bio-resin epoxy, and polyurethane on birch panel
• Dimensions: 4 × 4 × 1 inches
• Year: 2019 (refinished post-Helene)
• Edition: One-of-a-kind original
This work is cataloged and registered in the Ava Bock Art Studio archive as a one-of-a-kind original.
